Worked as a French teacher at Tallinn Pedagogical University, coordinating the referral of students to French higher education institutions. Currently works as a translator in Brussels.
Mari's role in Leida Laius and Arvo Iho's feature film "Naerata ometi" (1985) remained her only screen work.
