Kamal Jumblatt

    Kamal Fouad Jumblatt was a prominent Lebanese politician, philosopher, author, and poet. He is the founder of the Progressive Socialist Party. He was also the leader of the Lebanese National Movement who opposed the right wing and the Assad government in the Lebanese Civil War and a major ally of the Palestine Liberation Organization until his assassination in 1977.
