Dave Ryan, born on May 12, 1954, in New Zealand, is a respected motorsport figure known for his 35-year tenure with McLaren Formula 1. Starting as a mechanic, he rose to become Team Manager and Sporting Director, contributing to McLaren’s numerous victories and championships with drivers like Ayrton Senna and Lewis Hamilton. After leaving McLaren in 2009, he founded VonRyan Racing, which competed in GT racing.
