This is quite a fun little costume-horror about a doctor who has a pet ape. When he dies, his daughter becomes the target of her greedy uncle who with the aid of his son, plots to deprive her of her inheritance. Thing is - will the monkey allow his dastardly plan to succeed? This is now almost 90 years old but it is still hard to see how - even in the most dark and dingy drive-in - it could ever have been scary, but it is still quite enjoyable to watch for an hour with some extremely basic acting and special effects that raises a smile rather than a goosebump.
