A German family Keller arrives to the coastal village to spend summer holidays with their Croatian friends. Horst Keller and Roger Katushic were friends ever since Karl May's film adaptations took place there. Their children were friends for years, too, and they look forward to the reunion. Fantasizing about free life and "cowboys & Indians" adventures in the canyon of the Cetina river, the boys go there without knowing that the three cruel Chetniks who had just escaped from prison hide there.

It seems that football is still the most important thing in Koko's life and the upcoming encounter between the infamous “Pirates” and Koko's team “Green Hill” the central event of the season. Zlatko is still spending every second reading books and scolding Koko for being immature. To prove him wrong, Koko tells him that he is unhappily in love with Ana, a mysterious girl as magical as the heroines from Zlatko’s novels. Ljiljan’s task is to write a song that will allow his Partisan band to infiltrate the inner sanctum of the SS – by entering an SS talent show. If they win the competition, they will be invited to perform before Hitler and the NDH’s high command. This is a satirical coming-of-age tale with a difference, capturing the craziness, comedy and horror of war in the Balkans.
