Born in Kashmir, a conflict zone that continues to shape their perspective, their work often delves into themes of displacement and the human cost of conflict. Their latest film, Saffron Kingdom, has earned widespread acclaim, winning Best Feature Film at the Chicago Filmmakers Award, the LA Film and Documentary Awards, the Melbourne Independent Film Festival, the Wake Forest Film Festival, and the Anatolian International Film Awards. It also won Best Writer for a Feature Film at the Florida South Asian Film Festival and received nominations at festivals like the London Director Awards and ARRF Barcelona International Film Festival.
As the Managing Director of Daffodil Studios, a 501(c) organization, Panelist 3 is dedicated to creating impactful films while offering multimedia services to support nonprofit causes.
